Welcome!
Hello, my name is Eberechukwunemerem John Sunday. I am currently a Research Assistant at the Solution Innovative District (SID) Cybersecurity Lab, where I support cutting-edge research in cybersecurity. Additionally, I serve as a Computer Science Teacher at Hedge Foundation Schools, fostering the next generation of tech innovators.
My work revolves around developing tools to securing critical infrastructures and teaching computer science and Cybersecurity fundamental to High School Students.
During my undergraduate studies, I focused extensively on developing robust security measures for IoT devices using cryptographic algorithms, under the supervision of Dr. Promise Nlerum. This project honed my analytical skills and deepened my understanding of cryptographic principles in securing constrained environments.
Upon graduating, I had the opportunity to intern with ALX_Africa, a renowned Software Engineering platform. This experience enabled me to further develop my programming skills and explore various encryption protocols, enhancing my ability to prototype and implement secure systems.
Current Research
Currently, I am working on the development of resilient intrusion-tolerant systems, a crucial component for maintaining security in distributed environments. The goal of this project is to create systems that can not only withstand attacks but also recover from them while continuing to operate effectively. The system integrates cryptography, self-healing protocols, and fault-tolerant designs, allowing for real-time detection, containment, and recovery from security breaches.
The ultimate objective is to build a highly resilient system capable of securing critical infrastructures in resource-constrained environments, such as IoT networks, where traditional security measures may fall short.
